Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Risk Assessment

The OSHENS software uses the concept of DSE Assessment programmes. A programme is a collection of DSE users that an assessor wishes to administer as a Group.

Having set up a DSE programme, the assessor instructs the system to send an email containing access codes out to all the DSE users within that programme.

On receipt of their passcode a user is directed to their own personal DSE area. This includes a DSE tutorial that they are required to read and confirm understanding of and a self-assessment questionnaire.

Issues revealed during completion of a questionnaire are forwarded to the user's DSE assessor by email so that they are able to carry out a more detailed DSE assessment, where appropriate.
